Deck the Halls

Nathan and I are celebrating our very first Christmas together as a married couple. We were so excited when we finally were able to go get a Christmas Tree a few weeks ago! We got an artificial six foot tree from Kmart for only 25 dollars! We love bargain shopping, even for the holidays! We then went to the dollar tree and picked out a few decorations to make our tree extra special. Here are a few photos to show the decorating process:

Tree Location is always very important. The corner of the living room is always a perfect spot!

"The Lights on the Tree illuminate our hearts with Joy, for at Christmas the Light of God came to us!" - quote from my Sight and Sound Christmas Show

Don't worry, we moved that standing lamp from behind the tree... ;)

We then added Red Poinsettias, Gold and Red Bows, Gold ornaments, and purple sparkly mini ornaments to jazz it up.

To Top it off, we have unique individual ornaments and a sparkly star on top!

Amongst the unique ornaments, we have:

Disco Ball Ornaments

An ornament that reminds us of the "Glinda Bubble" from Wicked.

And an ornament that is the base of our faith and dreams!

Here's our Festive 'Doorman' for the Christmas Season :)

Our home is beginning to look A LOT like Christmas!!

Hope your Holiday Season is sweet and cuddly and filled with the warm fuzzies!

Red symbolizes the blood of the savior, green symbolizes ever lasting life, and holly represents his crown...these are the colors of Christmas!! -another quote from my show. :)

Thanks for the update and I know you're going to have the best Christmas ever...even though we will all miss you, we're glad you're together. I love you - Dad.

Yay! You're back...and no medical ailments here! Did you scratch yourself on the tree?? Or were there possibly any tics in there??

I know you'll be shocked (sense the sarcasm) but your cousin Abby has those same "disco balls" on her tree. =) I love bling bling.
