Our first guest, Maria, is my old roommate from Nashville and this past summer in Hershey and she is also one of the singers that sang in our wedding. She is a part of a tour called, 'Red Hot Hollywood'. The tour is put up by Matt Davenport Productions, which is the same company we worked for at Hershey Park. They are a great company and are showcasing her talents well! She is touring around the country until March and happened to be performing only 45 minutes away from us! It was on Sunday that we went to go see her, and were definitely the loudest ones in the audience. Everyone around us was muffling their hearing aids when we screamed for the performers.
The show was tremendous! Maria is a fabulous tap dancer and Man did she have an amazing tap number! I wish you all could have seen it! There are eight cast members and she was by far the most featured performer! She sang songs like: "Hopelessly Devoted to You", "Summer Lovin" - Grease, "The Hills are Alive" - Sound of Music, "What a feelin'" - Flash Dance , "Good Mornin" - Singing in the Rain.

We had a blast while Maria was at our house! We played the Wii! (which by the way- Boxing on the Wii is absolutely hysterical and impossible!) We carved pumpkins, I made 'surprise dinner', Nathan made pumpkin bread, we showed Maria our two theaters that we're working at. We also watched the movie "Duplicity" with Julia Roberts and Clive Owen and I've gotta say, we weren't big fans!
Here are a few photos from our 3 days with Maria!
We can't wait till we have more visitors! :)
Look at that Hair!

Nope, I missed it. I got Nathan and Maria's mixed up. Of course I knew which one was Whitneys. haha Your pumpkins are awesome!! We're supposed to try that tomorrow night... Marissa is orchestrating it. The dinner looked delicious too. How great that Maria got to come visit! What did we ever do without blogs!! I love seeing how sweet your new life is!
I want to come lay on the couch like that with you!! =(
I wish you were here to carve pumpkins with us! (wonder what ella will pick to carve...hm)
I had no clue whose pumpkin was whose...They look great though! We miss you and love your blog! Keep em comin'
I definitely knew whose pumpkin was Whitney's. Also we just watched Duplicity and we didn't like it either. I kept looking at Edward and he was rubbing his head just waiting for it to be over. Your blog is too cute.
Did you guys use stencils? I thought it was a joke and you guys posted professional pumpkins, and yours were going to be posted later. Nathan, ours never looked like that growing up, where did you learn that from?! I am impressed!
I just looked at them again, and I just can't believe it. Teach me!
Ryan guessed them right!
