Amazed

Today is the day before opening night for Altar Boyz! Technically we open tonight because we are performing for 200 some senior citizens. Tonight is what you would call preview night. I can't believe I know how to perform a show. Every time I learn a musical I'm always amazed once everything is learned. The feeling is so exciting to be able to perform and entertain people bringing them into a different world. The arts are so important in humanity and I feel so blessed to be apart of that. I do miss my wife beyond describing. However, the Lord has truly blessed me with great friendships while I've been here. I have learned that one of the cast members goes to the same church as Whitney and I do in NY and we will shortly be joining his small group upon our return. The conversations that we've shared together have been so meaningful and has inspired me to focus more on God's love everyday.
Life right now is good - would be better if Whitney and I could be together. I do not miss my pottery job one little ounce. I do miss New York - mainly my home. I do miss the fact that everything stays open much later in NY than in NH. It's been so great playing the piano - we have one in our housing here. I just got an iPhone and that has been so addicting but also exciting because it makes connecting with people more easy. Also I have been downloading apps like Bible devotions and world geography. I am getting excited to learn more about our world. I know nothing!
My friend here in the show has shown me some great pastors who are amazing speakers and we'll download there free video podcasts on iTunes. I will share a couple from youtube that aren't long.
