Haller Engagement

December 9th our two very great friends got engaged! Michael Haller proposed to Ms. Kara Farmer. We went to college with Kara and she's been dating Michael ever since they met on the Beauty and the Beast National Tour. We all knew it was just a matter of time before this amazing couple got engaged. We're soo extremely happy for them and couldn't be more proud and honored to be apart of their special night.  It was a very intense weekend. Whitney and I are still doing our separate shows in Hershey and Lancaster PA. I had my matinee of Singin in the Rain on Sunday at 2pm and Michael needed us to get into NYC ASAP because he was planning on proposing at our apartment building in Astoria, Queens where the two of them hung out the majority of their long distance relationship... Kara currently is living in our guest bedroom, and Michael has lived in that guest bedroom as well. Our apartment is becoming quite the place to live for our friends in the business and we are loving it while we are away:) Anyway, so immediately following my matinee we hopped in our ghetto but awesome car that we found on craigslist and drove 3.5 hours into the city making it just in time to change and light candles for Michael and Kara. Our dear friend Brittany was flown from LA to NYC, so she was already there setting up. Of course, we were all giddy with excitement because I hadn't seen Brittany in probably a year and half. CRAZY! I really do want to tell you all the details of this truly incredible event but honestly it would just take toooo long. So here are the cliff notes!

+Around 8:45pm Michael got on one knee outside of our apartment building and proposed to Kara.
+Kara screamed with excitement and said yes
+They both come upstairs to find the 3 of us.
+Much crying and happiness
+Gave a toast and cried some more
+We prayed over them
+Then... we walked to Michael's apartment to "pick up his roommates to go celebrate at a bar.."
+BAM!!! Surprise engagement party of Michaels with a whole bunch of friends.
+Even Jessica Blair was there from Mississippi! What?? This is incredible!!
+Much more crying and happiness
+Ate tons of food, drank champagne, wine. Glorious.
Next morning
+I had a dentist appointment:( and then I went to the AEA building to GET MY EQUITY CARD!!!
+Had brunch at Michael's apartment in Astoria, Queens
+Ate alllll the food and played all the games!
+Happiness
+Hanging out
+Helped Kara pick out her new gorgeous headshots
+Had sushi at Watawa (our favorite restaurant)
+Kara and Michael went to Jason Mraz concert at Madison Square Garden
+Brittany, Whit, Mike (Michael's roomy) and I played games
+Happiness
Next morning
+Michael, Kara, Britt, Whit and I got up at 6am and drove to Hershey PA to see Whit's Christmas show
+Happiness
+Laughing and crying
+Quality Time
+Then the 4 (no Whit) drove to Lancaster PA so they could see my show.
+Happiness

+Drove back to Hershey to spend the night with Whit
+Exhaustion
